This do88 BigPack replaces the OE intercooler and the pipework between the turbo outlet and the throttle body on the second generation Saab 9-5 Turbo6. Core volume is 14048 cm3 against 7735 cm3 stock, 81 percent more, across 2810 cm2 of frontal cooling area versus 2417 cm2. do88 measured 315 CFM at 0.15 bar (2.18 psi) pressure drop against 279 CFM for the OE unit, with post intercooler air temperature at 22°C instead of 35°C under matched conditions. The pipe kit mixes 2.5 inch and 2.75 inch mandrel bent seamless aluminum, and the black silicone hoses use four layers of polyester and aramid reinforcement.
