This kit replaces every pipe and hose between the turbocharger and the throttle body on the 2.5 TFSI. The hot side is a 70mm (2.75 in) mandrel-bent aluminum pipe in matte black powder coat, without the flattened section the OEM pipe uses to clear the inner wheelhouse. The cold side is a single cast aluminum pipe that runs from the intercooler outlet all the way to the throttle body, deleting two OEM joints and carrying an 86mm hose connection against the OEM 64mm. do88 measures 638 CFM at 150 mbar (2.17 psi) against 440 CFM for the OEM piping, a 31 percent gain. This is the do88 intercooler version, with hoses sized to the 80mm connections of the do88 Performance Intercooler ICM-420. Hoses are four-layer reinforced silicone with stepped ends, and the cold pipe carries two CNC-machined 1/8 NPT ports for water/methanol injection or a boost pressure sensor.
