These pressure pipes reverse the flow through the intercooler so charge air is drawn from the bottom of the core on its way to the throttle body, and the routing is 60cm shorter than the OEM run for a faster throttle response. do88 measures 414 CFM at 0.15 bar (2.18 psi) pressure drop against 342 CFM for the OEM piping, 21 percent higher, verified both on the car and on its own SuperFlow SF-1020 flow bench. The pipes are 2.5 in mandrel-bent stainless steel, and the boost pressure and temperature sensors mount in a cast and machined flange on the lower pipe instead of the OEM fixing, which often leaks once boost is raised. This version is built with black silicone hoses carrying four layers of polyester and aramid reinforcement.
