do88 Cold Air Intake System - BMW B58 Gen 1 (F20/F22/F30/F32) 2015-2021

This is do88's fully sealed intake system for the B58 Gen 1 in the F20, F22, F30 and F32 families. A heat shield and lid with rubber sealing close the airbox around the filter and it feeds from the OE fresh air duct, so only cold air reaches the turbo. The OE plastic intake pipe is replaced with an 85mm (3.3 in) mandrel bent aluminium pipe that expands to 93mm (3.7 in) at the turbo inlet elbow. do88 chose the unusual 85mm size deliberately: it gives the correct inner diameter for the MAF sensor, where the commonly used 89mm pipe skews the MAF reading and can lean the mixture and set a check engine light. do88 measure a 39% airflow increase and a 0.4 second faster 100-200 km/h time on a stage 2 car. The cotton gauze filter is washable and supplied unoiled.
