This kit replaces the idle control circuit hoses with high quality silicone built in three to five reinforcement layers depending on inner diameter. Silicone keeps its shape and its seal at underhood temperatures that harden and split the original rubber, and a split hose here lets the idle air control valve draw unmetered air, which shows up as a hunting or high idle. The set replaces OE references 9308974 and 7517915.
