do88 built this replacement intercooler around a 6,825 cm3 core against 4,821 cm3 for the original, a 41 percent increase in core volume. On do88 test data it flows 296 CFM at 0.15 bar pressure drop, and charge temperature after the core measured 34 degrees C against 50 degrees C for the OE cooler under the same conditions. It is built entirely in aluminium with fully welded seams and is packaged to use every available millimetre of the factory location, so it installs in the original position. It ships complete with hoses, screws, brackets and fitting instructions.
