do88 built this replacement intercooler around a 570 x 240 x 76 mm core giving 10,397 cm3 of core volume against 4,675 cm3 for the original, a 222 percent increase. On do88 test data it flows 325 CFM at 0.15 bar pressure drop versus 267 CFM for the OE cooler, and charge temperature after the core measured 33 degrees C against 73 degrees C under the same conditions. It is a cross-flow layout, inlet on one side and outlet on the other, built entirely in aluminium with CAD designed, flow optimized cast end tanks in place of the plastic tanks used on the original, which limit sustained boost. All mounting points needed for installation are included.
