do88 built this replacement intercooler around a 9,677 cm3 core against 3,673 cm3 for the original, a 163 percent increase in core volume. On do88 test data it flows 289 CFM at 0.15 bar pressure drop versus 263 CFM for the OE cooler, and charge temperature after the core measured 38 degrees C against 69 degrees C under the same conditions. Construction is all aluminium with CAD designed, flow optimized cast end tanks, replacing the plastic tanks of the original that cannot take higher boost for sustained periods. Everything needed for installation is supplied.
