Idle control hoses run through the hottest part of the 700 and 900 series engine bay, and the original rubber hardens and splits there, producing a hunting idle and an unmetered air leak. This set replaces OE references 3517262 and 3517084 in high quality silicone with three to five layers of reinforcement depending on inner diameter. The routing is the layout used on cars without air conditioning, which differs from the air conditioned kit. A matching clamp kit, do88-kit34, is sold separately.
