This silicone turbo inlet hose replaces the original rubber intake hose that carries filtered air from the airbox into the turbocharger, a part that hardens and splits with age and underhood heat. It is moulded from high quality silicone with three to five reinforcement layers, and an integrated steel wire spiral keeps the wall from collapsing under the negative pressure the turbo pulls on the intake side. Matching hose clamps are sold separately as clamp-kit21.
