This silicone hose sits directly on the turbocharger compressor outlet of the 2.2 TiD Saab 9-3, the hottest and highest pressure point in the charge air path. Each hose is built entirely from silicone with three to five reinforcement layers depending on inner diameter, so it holds boost pressure and heat far longer than the original rubber part, which typically hardens and cracks with age. This kit adds an inner layer of fluorosilicone rubber for extra chemical resistance and service life. It replaces Saab part numbers 4876728, 5325584 and 5329008.
