The 992 combines its intercooler and Y pipe into one assembly under the rear wing, and this kit replaces it with two Garrett Motorsport bar and plate cores joined by a central outlet tank feeding the inlet manifold. The cores measure 105 mm (4 in) thick, the most the bay allows, and thin cast aluminium end tanks developed from a 3D scan and CFD analysis carry machined 70 mm (2.75 in) connections plus two 1/8 NPT bungs on the outlet tank for water/methanol injection. Vacuum infused prepreg carbon fibre ambient air guides duct decklid air through the cores and seal against them with rubber strips so cooling air cannot escape past the core. do88 measures 919 CFM at a 0.175 bar (2.54 psi) pressure drop against 820 CFM for the OE assembly, 12% higher, with peak inlet air temperature of 30°C against 39°C across five back to back full throttle runs. This version carries the lower carbon ducts for the standard rear bumper.

Returns

  • 30 days from delivery to request and ship back a return on new, uninstalled items in original packaging with all hardware.
