This kit replaces the turbo inlet hose and the boost pressure control valve hose with high quality silicone. The inlet hose carries three to five reinforcement layers and an embedded steel wire helix, so it cannot collapse under the negative pressure the compressor pulls at full load, the failure that closes up a softened rubber inlet. The boost pressure control valve hose is renewed at the same time, since that small-bore line hardens and leaks well before the main inlet does.
