do88 Turbo Inlet Pipe 48.5mm OEM Airbox - VAG 1.8T/2.0T (MQB) 2012-Present - Black

This turbo inlet replaces the restrictive factory pipe on EA888 MQB cars with a 76 mm aluminum tube against the original 70 mm, a 35% larger flow area. On do88's flow bench at 75 mbar of pressure drop it moved 514 CFM where the OEM part managed 410 CFM, 25% more air to the compressor. The turbo flange is CNC-machined with a flow optimized radius, and the PCV port and mounting bracket are machined into the pipe. A steel wire reinforced black silicone hose with a stepped inside matches the connection diameters to reduce turbulence. This version is sized for the stock 48.5 mm turbocharger inlet and the OEM air box lid. Installation hardware and instructions are included and nothing on the car needs to be cut or altered. It does not fit cars equipped with a mass air flow meter.
