This 1-piece 4 in aluminum CV driveshaft eliminates the factory 2-piece shaft, hanger bearing and rubber couplers on the 3.8 V6 Genesis Coupe with the 8-speed automatic, and includes aluminum adapter plates for the transmission and differential. The CV mounts on a 300M stub set into a billet aluminum plate for strength with less weight. After assembly the shaft is high-speed balanced. It weighs about 20 lb, is rated to 1000+ HP, and comes with grade 12.9 hardware for the adapter plates.
