A 3.8 in carbon fiber, 1-piece direct fit rear CV driveshaft for the automatic Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and SRT Demon. It replaces the factory rubber-mounted two-piece shaft, removing the rear adapter plate and using a precision ground CV that fits inside the pinion flange like the factory setup. The CVs use chromoly internals, the carbon tube carries chromoly spline plugs and billet aluminum end caps, and each shaft is balanced on a high-speed balancer. The design reduces weight and improves power handling and drivetrain response.

Does this driveshaft fit a manual transmission Challenger?

  • No. This shaft is for automatic transmission Challenger SRT Hellcat and Demon models only.

Is anything required before installing it?

  • Yes. A rear subframe/cradle lock-out kit must be installed on the car before this driveshaft. Skipping it voids the warranty.

Is the cradle lock-out kit in the box?

  • No. The box contains the driveshaft only; the lock-out kit is a separate purchase.

Will I need spacers or exhaust changes?

  • No spacers are needed on 2015+ models. The exhaust may need to be modified to give about 0.75 in of clearance.

What warranty does it carry?

  • A 1-year warranty from The Driveshaft Shop, which is void if damage results from not reinforcing the rear cradle.

Returns

  • 30 days from delivery to request and ship back a return on new, uninstalled items in original packaging with all hardware.
  • Standard returns: 8% restocking fee on the item price before tax and shipping. Shipping is not refunded in either direction. All waived if the item is defective or we made the error.
  • Fitment guaranteed: select your vehicle above, or confirm fitment with us in writing before you order. If the part shows as a fit and it is wrong, the return is on us, even after installation. Otherwise, installed or used parts cannot be returned.
