EBC Redstuff is a synthetic aramid fiber compound enhanced with ceramic particles, engineered for premium sedans and performance SUVs that need strong, quiet street braking. It delivers a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 with full braking bite from cold and cuts brake dust by roughly 60 to 90 percent versus standard pads, and because the compound carries no steel fibers the minimal residue rinses away with a sponge. Every set ships with the EBC Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the rotor face and speeds pad bedding. Most Redstuff Ceramic pads are approved to the ECE R90 brake safety regulation.
