Garrett G42-1585 G-Series II super core (P/N 938339-5003S) — the dual ball bearing center cartridge assembly with compressor cover and backplate, ready to pair with a Garrett turbine housing of your choice. The 79mm Gen 2 compressor aero flows up to 10% more than G-Series Gen I at peak pressure ratio, supporting 475 to 1585 HP across 2.0L to 7.0L engines. A one-piece center housing and backplate cut failure points, and a shorter bearing cartridge runs twin piston rings on both sides of the shaft to reduce oil seal leakage. G-Series II reuses Gen I compressor and turbine housing contours, so existing Gen I builders can carry over their compressor cover.
