Bug & Smudge Remover is a powerful surfactant that softens baked-on bug residue so it lifts away instead of being scrubbed off. That is the whole idea: you let chemistry do the work rather than dragging hardened insect remains across your clear coat. Beyond bugs it tackles heavy oils, gunk, stubborn road grime and scuffs, and Griot's rates it safe for use on all exterior surfaces.

Application is a 30-second job: spray it on, wait, gently agitate, wipe away. Griot's also recommends it as a pre-treatment on the windshield and front end before a wash when bug strike is heavy. Part number 10982 is the 22 oz spray; the same formula is offered as gallon 11015.
