Griot's Garage Ceramic Tire Dressing - 22 oz Satin Tire & Trim Coating

Ceramic Tire Dressing is Griot's Garage ceramic-based dressing for tires and exterior trim. It goes on as a spray and wipes level, drying to a rich satin finish that Griot's says lasts weeks. The ceramic formula does more than darken rubber: it repels water, chemicals, dirt, UV rays and other pollutants, so the sidewall and the trim around it are protected rather than just dressed.

The formula is non-sling and fast drying, so it stays where you put it instead of flinging onto the paint on the first drive. Part number 10842 is the 22 oz spray; Griot's sells the identical formula as gallon 10856. Note that this is a dressing, not a cleaner - it is the finishing step after the wheels and tires have been washed, where Heavy-Duty Wheel Cleaner (11027) is the product that strips brake dust off the wheel itself.

Directions

1. Wash and dry the wheels and tires first. Griot's recommends prepping bare rubber with Rubber Cleaner or Rubber Prep before you dress a tire.
2. Spray Ceramic Tire Dressing onto the tire sidewall or the trim you are treating.
3. Wipe to spread it evenly - the formula is designed for spray-and-wipe application.
4. Repeat panel by panel; the fast-drying, non-sling formula does not need to be buffed off.
