Griot's Garage Paint Cleaning Clay - 8 oz

A traditional clay bar for pulling bonded contamination out of paint: overspray, tree sap, bug residue, tar, hard water deposits and the embedded brake dust that washing leaves behind. Griot's grades this one as extremely mild, so it lifts contamination without stripping wax or marring the clear coat the way a coarse clay will. It has to be used with a lubricant, which is sold separately, and the piece in hand gets kneaded and reflattened as it loads up with grit. At 8 oz it is a large bar; Griot's rates it for up to seven vehicles, and any piece that gets dropped goes in the bin rather than back on the paint.
