Griot's Garage Vented Orbital Backing Plate - 5 in

This is the 5 inch backing plate that converts a Griot's 6 inch random orbital, or a G9, onto the 5 inch pad family, the size that follows body lines and works around badges and mirrors without fighting the panel. The face is urethane foam with a chamfered edge and a Velcro micro hook surface, and cooling ports through the plate drop operating temperature, which is what extends pad life on long correction sessions. It threads on with a 5/16 in 24 shaft, so it fits any random orbital using that spindle; it does not fit the four screw mount on the original Griot's Random Orbital, item 10925.
