H&R Sport 22mm Front Sway Bar - Volkswagen MK4 1998-2010

A stiffer front sway bar raises front roll stiffness, so the body leans less in a corner and the outside front tire holds a flatter contact patch, without touching ride height or spring rate. This H&R Sport bar measures 22mm across and is a fixed single position design. H&R cold forms and heat treats it from (hf) 50CrV4 spring steel, forges the ends seamlessly rather than welding them, and shot peens the finished bar for fatigue life. Urethane and Teflon composite bushings come with the bar; they resist squeak and need no lubrication. H&R specifies a bar of this diameter for New Beetle, Golf IV and Jetta IV chassis lowered more than 1.4 inches.
