H&R 71385 is a Sport rear sway bar for the 1999-2005 Porsche 911 (996), 24 mm in diameter with three adjustment holes in the forged ends. A sway bar changes roll stiffness at one end of the car without changing spring rate or ride height, so unlike lowering springs it firms up cornering behaviour while leaving straight-line ride quality essentially alone. Adding rear roll stiffness on a rear-engined car shifts the balance away from understeer; the three holes let you dial how far you take that, and the setting can be changed later with a spanner rather than another parts order.
