VTF stands for Verstellbar Tieferlegungs Federn, H&R's adjustable lowering spring system, and its point is that the springs work with the car's factory electronic dampers instead of forcing you to replace them. Ride height is set on the car rather than fixed by the spring: the front adjusts through 1.2 to 1.8 inches of drop and the rear through 1.0 to 1.6 inches, so stance can be dialled in precisely. This kit is specified for cars fitted with AMG Ride Control. Actual drop varies on cars that left the factory with sport suspension.
