The Hawk DTC-70 is a motorsports race compound engineered for high torque and aggressive braking at elevated temperatures. It produces an extremely aggressive initial bite with superior release and modulation, giving precise control through repeated hard stops on track. The compound operates across a 400°F to 1600°F range, with an optimal window of 800°F to 1200°F, and carries an HH friction rating. It resists rotor and pad wear, and is compatible with iron and metal rotors only, not carbon ceramic.
