Hawk HPS Brake Pads Chevrolet Corvette 1965-1973 - Front (1966-1973/1994 Rear)

Hawk Performance's HPS (High Performance Street) compound is a ferro-carbon friction material built to raise brake torque over a stock pad while staying civil on a daily-driven, street-legal car. Hawk publishes it as delivering increased stopping power with a smooth braking feel, consistent brake release, and wear characteristics that stay gentle on rotors. It is a street compound, not a race compound.

The letter before the decimal in a Hawk part number is the compound, not the axle: the F in HB126F.505 means HPS. The number after the decimal is the pad thickness - 0.505 in. Hawk lists the HB126 shape as a front pad on the 1965-1973 Chevrolet Corvette and as a rear pad on the 1966-1973 and 1994 Corvette, so check which end of your car you are ordering for.

• Compound: HPS. The HB126B.505 and HB126N.505 part numbers use the same shape in HPS 5.0 and HP Plus compounds respectively.
• Pad thickness 0.505 in, taken from the .505 suffix in the part number.
