This HKS baffle plate set fits inside the RB26DETT cam covers to separate oil mist from blow by gas before it reaches the breather outlets. Offset layers of metal punching force the gas to change direction across four plate faces, dropping suspended oil out of the stream and returning it to the head through notches cut into the punching. On a hard driven or high boost RB26 that cuts the volume of oil carried into the intake tract, keeps consumption down and slows the drop in sump level that leads to oil starvation. The set covers the intake and exhaust cam covers and includes sixteen M4 x 0.7 hex bolts, torqued to 0.5 kgf-m over a bead of liquid gasket. HKS specifies professional installation.
