The HKS Hipermax R full kit is a monotube, nitrogen charged coilover set with 30 step damping adjustment and full length ride height adjustment at all four corners. Spring rates are 216 N/mm (22.0 kgf/mm) at the front on a 200 mm free length and 255 N/mm (26.0 kgf/mm) at the rear on a 170 mm free length, both linear wound and running helper springs. Ride height spans 715 to 658 mm at the front and 717 to 661 mm at the rear, shipped at 687 mm and 691 mm with both damping dials set to 15. Aluminum pillowball upper mounts are fitted front and rear, threads carry a PNE coating, the dampers use SRF oil and the units are rebuildable, with spring rate changes permitted within 20 N/mm. Camber adjustment is not part of the kit.
