Injen's SuperNano-Web media layers a highly efficient nano membrane over a high flow base media, so the filter traps fine dirt at the surface instead of loading it deep into the pleats where it chokes airflow. It runs completely dry, which means there is no filter oil to migrate downstream and contaminate a MAF sensor, and servicing is a light blast of compressed air rather than a wash and re-oil cycle. Deep pleats add media area for airflow without growing the filter, and the conical closed top body seats on a 6.50 in twist lock base for select Injen Evolution intake systems. A stainless steel band clamp with an inner protective liner secures it to a 4.00 in flange. Media was validated by an outside lab and then run at the Baja 1000 and in Middle East sand dunes.
