King's XPC Series rod bearings are copper-based tri-metal shells finished with pMaxKote, a polymer dry film that raises seizure and wear resistance without adding thickness to the bearing. The set covers all six rod journals of the VR6 and is supplied in King's STDX size, a standard journal fit machined with extra oil clearance for engines running a polished crank, high oil temperature or sustained heavy load. Bearing width is 16.9 mm across a 53.98/53.96 mm rod journal in a 56.82/56.80 mm housing bore.
