KONI Special ACTIVE Rear Shock Absorber - Audi B8/8T/8R/C7 2008-2018

A twin-tube low-pressure gas rear shock from KONI's 8045 Special ACTIVE series, which uses Frequency Selective Damping to change its own damping rate by input frequency rather than by a driver setting. Low-frequency inputs such as body roll, dive and squat get firm damping for control; high-frequency inputs such as expansion joints and coarse pavement get soft damping, so the car gains body control without gaining harshness. There is no external adjuster, and no periodic adjustment to make. Sold individually.
