MagnaFlow CARB Front Direct Fit Catalytic Converter - Chevrolet Astro / GMC Safari 1996-1999

This is MagnaFlow's California Grade CARB compliant direct fit catalytic converter for the 4.3L Astro and Safari vans, a spun body assembly that bolts in with the proper tools and needs no cutting or welding. The tubing is high strength 16 gauge 409 stainless with durable 308 stainless MIG welds and OE sized barbed hangers in corrosion resistant 410 stainless, mandrel bent to keep the factory geometry so exhaust flow, fuel economy and engine operation stay where the manufacturer set them. MagnaFlow replicates the OE spun body and closes it with a single laser fusion weld, which greatly reduces the chance of a leak, while the compact low mass design improves thermal efficiency. The unit carries CARB Executive Order D-193-173 and is legal for use in California and other CARB restricted states on the listed vehicles. One flange gasket and two donut gaskets are included.
