MagnaFlow CARB Front Primary Catalytic Converter - VW GTI / Jetta / Audi A3 2008-2009

This is the front primary converter for the 2.0T, a 66.5 in underbody assembly that takes the downpipe with it, so one part replaces the converter and the pipe rather than leaving you to splice the old one. The spun body replicates the OE design and installs with no cutting or welding. The tubing is 16 gauge 409 stainless mandrel bent to hold the OE flow geometry, joined by a single laser fusion weld that leaves fewer seams to leak, with 308 stainless MIG welds and OE-sized barbed 410 stainless hangers to keep noise and vibration down. Two oxygen sensor ports cover pre and post converter positions, a Torca AccuSeal clamp distributes clamping force through a full 360 degrees without distorting the pipe, and the part is CARB compliant under Executive Order D-193-200 for legal installation in California and the CARB restricted states.
