It is built from free-flowing mandrel-bent, 16-gauge 409 stainless steel tubing and joined with a single laser fusion weld that mirrors the OE spun-body design to minimize leak points and improve thermal efficiency. The compact, low-mass unit bolts in with no cutting or welding, and the included gaskets seal the connections.
