MagnaFlow's OEM Grade Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter 49480 is a Federal/EPA-compliant, spun-body converter that keeps the check engine light off while restoring factory emissions performance. It is built from free-flowing mandrel-bent, 16-gauge 409 stainless steel tubing and joined with a single laser fusion weld that mirrors the OE spun-body design to minimize leak points and improve thermal efficiency. The compact, low-mass unit bolts in with no cutting or welding, and the included gaskets and hardware seal the connections. It meets or exceeds EPA emissions requirements for federally registered OBD-II vehicles, and is not legal for sale or use in California or CARB-controlled states.
