This is the front, close-coupled converter for BMW's N26 SULEV 2.0L four cylinder, replacing OE part 18 30 7 607 665, which BMW itself catalogues as the catalytic converter close to the engine. It is not the underbody unit; that secondary converter is a separate MagnaFlow part number, 52435. Fitment is N26 specific, so the far more common N20 engine is not covered even in the same model years. The spun stainless body sits over a ceramic substrate and measures 18.75 inches overall with pipe connections at both the inlet and outlet rather than flanges, and it carries two oxygen sensor ports, one pre-converter and one midbed. Two bolts are supplied. This is a Federal EPA part and is not legal for sale or installation in California, Colorado or New York.
