MagnaFlow's HM Grade converter replaces the factory underbody converter on the 5.4L V8 and 6.8L V10 gas Super Duty and Excursion. The clam-shell body carries an attached aluminized steel heat shield over a ceramic substrate, built from 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing with 308 stainless steel MIG welds, and runs 57 in overall with a flange inlet and a pipe connection outlet. There are no oxygen sensor ports, OE sized barbed 410 stainless steel hangers are included, and a flange gasket ships in the box. This converter is built to Federal EPA standards and covers vehicles originally equipped with the Federal emissions system.
