MagnaFlow's HM Grade converter replaces the factory close-coupled manifold converter as a one-piece bolt-in assembly, so no cutting or welding is needed. The spun body is built from 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing with 308 stainless steel MIG welds, and a single laser fusion weld reduces the chance of a leak. Mandrel-bent tubing reproduces OE flow geometry so factory driveability and fuel economy are preserved. Overall length is 19.75 in with a 7.75 in converter body and one oxygen sensor port, and four flange gaskets plus a bolt and nut are included.
