It installs inline with the factory PCV system so a 50-micron bronze filter can capture the oil and unburned fuel carried in crankcase vapors before they coat the intake manifold and valves, helping reduce carbon buildup and pre-detonation. The anodized billet 6061 aluminum can mounts on a 3mm steel bracket in a serviceable location, and pre-molded hoses with factory-style quick-disconnects fit alongside the factory engine cover.
