The Mishimoto Baffled Oil Catch Can Kit is a direct-fit upgrade for the 2013-2018 Ford Focus ST that reduces carbon buildup common to direct-injection engines. It uses the Mishimoto 2-Port Compact Baffled Oil Catch Can tied into the vacuum-assisted PCV system, where a 50-micron bronze filter and internal baffle separate oil from the crankcase vapors. The kit includes two direct-fit hoses, an application-specific bracket that mounts the can in a serviceable spot beside the oil drain plug, and two CNC-machined aluminum 3/8in barb fittings. Unlike heated AOS systems, the can traps blow-by and keeps it out of the engine permanently.
