This kit pairs a black all-aluminum bar-and-plate intercooler with wrinkle black mandrel-bent aluminum charge pipes for the 1.5L turbo Civic and Civic Si. The intercooler has 102% more volume and 97% more fin surface area than the factory tube-and-fin unit, dropping outlet air temperature by 20°F on the stock tune and up to 42°F with a performance tune. The hot side and cold side pipes grow from 42 mm to 55 mm with gentler bends and 5-layer fiber-embedded silicone couplers, and the kit added up to 4 whp and 8 lb-ft stock, or 11 whp and 9 lb-ft with a tune.

Fitment Notes 1.5L turbo (L15B7) models only, including the Civic Si. Does not fit Civics with the 2.0L non-turbo engine or the Civic Type R. 27 in-lbs (3NM) recommended for all T-bolt and constant-tension T-bolt clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 18-35 in-lbs (2-4NM). Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 35 in-lbs (4NM).

Does it fit a Civic with the 2.0L engine?

  • No. It fits the 1.5L turbo Civic and the Civic Si only, not the 2.0L non-turbo models or the Type R.

Do I need a tune?

  • No. It gained up to 4 whp and 8 lb-ft on the stock tune, and up to 11 whp and 9 lb-ft with a tune.

Is it street legal in California?

  • Yes. It is covered by CARB Executive Order D-759-12 for the 2016-2021 Civic and 2017-2020 Civic Si 1.5L turbo, and a CARB EO sticker is included.

What torque should the clamps get?

  • 27 in-lbs (3 Nm), and no more than 35 in-lbs (4 Nm).

Returns

  • 30 days from delivery to request and ship back a return on new, uninstalled items in original packaging with all hardware.

  • Fitment guaranteed: select your vehicle above, or confirm fitment with us in writing before you order. If the part shows as a fit and it is wrong, the return is on us, even after installation. Otherwise, installed or used parts cannot be returned.
