The stock cooler is the weak link given poor airflow and a cramped cooling stack; this custom-designed cooler extracts more cooling from the air through the grille with a 93% increase in external tube area and 32% increase in external fin area. Internal fins add fluid-contact surface area and, combined with an 83% increase in fluid capacity, keep the transmission safe even at low airflow.
