The Mishimoto Performance Air Intake for the 1.5T Civic is a direct-fit, bolt-on upgrade that makes dyno-proven gains of about 9 whp and 10 wtq on the stock tune. A steel-wire-reinforced silicone intake arm improves airflow and controls intake air temperatures better than an aluminum arm, while a MAF housing with a venturi-style inlet smooths airflow for accurate sensor readings. The black powder-coated steel airbox shields the high-flow filter from engine bay heat and, mounted high near the hood, reduces the risk of hydrolock. It works with the factory tune and includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
