The Mishimoto Performance Air Intake replaces the restrictive factory airbox on the turbocharged Honda Civic Type R and Acura Integra Type S with a fully sealed, free-breathing system that flows 17.9 percent better than stock on the flow bench. The enclosed airbox isolates the filter from engine bay heat to keep charge temperatures cooler and denser through repeated pulls. Back-to-back dyno testing confirms gains of 14.9 whp and 25.3 wtq over the factory intake. The kit drops in with basic hand tools and requires no tune.
