The Mishimoto Performance Intercooler replaces the restrictive tube-and-fin factory unit on the 2015+ Volkswagen MK7 Golf TSI/GTI/R and related Audi A3/S3/TT models. The all-aluminum TIG-welded bar-and-plate core increases core volume by 89-percent and external fin surface area by 162-percent over stock, while cast aluminum end tanks with internal airflow diverters feed the full core. Testing showed max gains of 14 whp and 12 wtq on stock tuning and a 23F drop in intercooler outlet temperatures. The kit includes a pair of CNC-machined aluminum mounting brackets for a precise direct fit.
