Motul 8100 X-cess Gen2 is a 100% synthetic 5W-40 engine oil for powerful late model gasoline and diesel engines, including large displacement and turbocharged applications. It meets ACEA A3/B4 and API SQ, and carries manufacturer approvals from BMW LL-01, Mercedes-Benz MB 229.5 and MB 226.5, Porsche A40, Volkswagen 502 00 and 505 00, Renault RN0700 and RN0710, General Motors LL-B-025 for diesel, and PSA B71 2296. The 5W-40 grade gives cold start flow together with a stable oil film at operating temperature.
