Motul Classic SAE 50 is a mineral engine oil formulated for vintage engines and gearboxes built between 1900 and 1950. Its very low detergent level keeps it compatible with paper, felt, and fabric gaskets while avoiding the excessive soot and deposit removal that can clog older lubrication circuits. It suits nonferrous metals such as brass, bronze, and copper, works as a break-in oil when drain intervals are shortened, and offers reinforced adherence for easier startup after long storage.
