The EPDM and silicone outer jacket with inner insulation contains high-voltage current for high dielectric strength, while stainless-steel terminals with up to three serrated crimps and a locking C-shaped spring clip hold a secure connection at each plug. Spark plug boots are sealed to the cable with silicone for a watertight fit.
