The NRG Innovations Gen 4.0 quick release is machined from aircraft grade 6061 aluminum and anodized blue across the body, the release ring and the paddle extensions. It uses a ball lock mechanism with a self locking feature, and the ergonomic paddle style release ring gives far more leverage than a conventional collar. Raised sections on the body keep the mating hub from being scratched or stretched over time. The unit is drilled for both 6 x 70mm and 6 x 74mm patterns, so it mounts to either standard.
